The Image Impeccable Challenge is Live!

Welcome to Image Impeccable, a seismic image denoising challenge!

For this challenge, we’ve provided you with a series of 3D seismic volumes that are in dire need of denoising. Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to build a model that can intake a seismic volume, and denoise the volume in an accurate and efficient manner.

How should the submission file keys be named? I think the test files provided have duplicate names.

Thanks for the question @koushulramjattun. The data is named correctly, but might look slightly different than the training data. Each 3D Numpy volume sits in a folder with a unique ID for that particular volume target pair. There are indeed some volumes that have the same name. Here is an example in the actual test dataset:

Notice that while the volume names are the same for the two highlighted examples, the folder names (IDs) are different. Each folder has a different volume. The final predictions will need to use the folder IDs as the names for the predictions.
